Important Dates and Reminders for Competitors
This page is where you can find important information regarding your responsibilities as a competitior.
Day of Competition Information
Day of event schedule is here.
Pole testing etiquette:
1) Please only use the pole testing for the section you are performing in. If you are a section 1 performer, utilize the section 1 pole testing from 8:30am-10:30am. If you are a section 2 performer, utilize the section 2 pole testing from 4:45pm-6:15pm.
2) Pole testing is not meant to be a time where you can run your full routine. It is meant to be a time where you can test the feel of the poles, check your spacing, and test the speed of the spin pole. Try not to spend more than 1 minute at a pole before moving on. You may get back in line and re-test if time remains.
Theatre Parking:
There is a small parking lot at the Lincoln Theatre, but it is unlikely that all participants will be able to park in this lot. There is ample street parking available in the area.
Where to eat:
Concessions will be available at the theatre during lunch and dinner times.
Additionally, there are a few restaurants within walking distance of The Lincoln Theatre.
1) Los Positanos- Casual Mexican spot a little over a block away from the theatre
2) Waves Bar and Kitchen: Pizza, burgers, beer, and cocktails :)
3) Gluten Free Biscuits by Daddy-O- A well reviewed gluten free biscuit cafe that offers sweet biscuits and savory options like chicken biscuit sandwiches.
4) Lincoln cafe- Neighborhood American cafe serving specialty coffees, plus bagels, soups, sandwiches & other basics.
5) Canabar- Neighborhood bar, doesn't serve food
Checkout nearby neighborhoods of Olde Towne East or German Village for additional dining options.
